Te Awahou Nieuwe Stroom Heritage Room has the Research Librarian available all day every Friday.

A hand wrapped book, carefully curated from a wide range of popular genres. Tagged with clues alluding to the mystery title inside. It’s a puzzle, it’s a present! Enter our Blind Date with a Book competitio­n throughout the week of 8 to February 15 and be in to win one of two top secret prizes.

Adult Reading Challenge Launch

Summer to autumn — and the return of the kids and grandkids to school — gives us the chance to present a new Adult Reading Challenge with a different series of reading related tasks. Pick up your booklet from February 14, read around the challenges and earn credit on your library account.
