Mentoring helps with entries
Entry into the Electra Business & Innovation Awards for 2022. will open next week.
The Electra Business & Innovation Awards board has totally revamped the application process, simplifying and streamlining the process and are removing all entry fees to make it easy for all businesses to enter. Simply answer a few questions about your business and what you’ve achieved — then send it in. It’s designed to take no more than morning or afternoon to write it up and then email it in, organisers said.
There are nine easy to navigate sections, all completed on a Word document.
For the 2022 awards there are the following categories: ● Industry categories: Manufacturing, Production and Processing, Hospitality, Entertainment and Tourism, Construction and Trades, Retail (Includes hair and beauty services), Professional and Business Services, or Technology,
Not for Profit, Community and Public Services, Consumer Services — new for 2022.
● Sub-categories include: New/emerging (Less than 3 years in operation), Small business (0-11 FTEs).
● Special awards include: Innovation Award, Electra Business of the Year, Hall of Fame — Horowhenua and Ka¯ piti.

applicants with an Entry Mentoring Opportunity, a free 30-minute coaching session available to get you started with your entry.
Heather will meet one-onone with you, answer your questions and help to clarify your ideas. Only 25 complimentary time slots are available.
