Last year we held our business awards online ... what a challenge!
This year we are back to our regular format and it’s just the best opportunity to collectively acknowledge success, in whatever form that it takes. This year we celebrate at the Events Centre in Levin.
Simply being viable for any business right now is a credit, given the world we currently live in.
I could waffle on about all the challenges, but it’s way more important to say thanks for hanging in there and keeping our communities sustained.
For those of us on the outside, we really don’t have a true appreciation of the depth of stress many business owners have been under. You have held on in hugely testing circumstances, and for those of you who have entered the Electra Business & Innovation Awards you are heros of our community.
Maintaining stability, supporting staff, delivering services, and remaining viable will have consumed every business owner, and we as a community owe a debt of gratitude for your fortitude.
Evenings such as the awards allow success to be recognised and celebrated. We are the longest continuously run business awards in NZ, both Horowhenua and Kāpiti can be justifiably proud and enormously grateful to our sponsors Electra, Horowhenua District Council and Kāpiti Coast District Council, and fellow businesses listed below.
