We learned this week ( Do­min­ion Post, 29/3) that PCC spent $555,793 since 2010 on mar­ket­ing and pro­mot­ing the city. We hear con­tin­ual bleat­ing by the mayor and oth­ers that out­siders have a poor per­cep­tion of Porirua. Clearly there­fore, the view has to be that all our mar­ket­ing money over many years has failed to achieve a pos­i­tive re­sult. Why then do we con­tinue to em­ploy a mar­ket­ing man­ager who fails to de­liver?
