Workshop on

Settlement Support Porirua and Global Connect are holding a half-day workshop on April 21 to help immigrants with the process of buying a house.

The course was developed by Housing New Zealand and includes goal setting and budgeting, considering whether home ownership is the best option, the home buying process, getting a home loan, financial assistance for first home buyers, building a home and affordable house design, maintaining your home and mortgage refinancing.

The course is in simple, easy-tounderstand English, and is available to all residents.

It runs from 1pm at Level One, City Fitness Building, 1 Walton Leigh Avenue, Porirua.
