Wrestling silver

Jordan Mellars-rose, from Tawa College, finished second in the 76kg weight class at the secondary school wrestling championships in Hamilton on March 31. His cause wasn’t helped by a slip on the mat late in the match, but his silver medal was complemented by the Currie Cup for best and fairest male.
