Petrol thief

I am writing this letter to inform Tawa people that there is a petrol thief in the Linden area.

A resident contacted the police as soon as she knew and all the police said was there was nothing they could do about it.

Now I find this very hard to believe as if this had happened to them they would have been up in arms about it. The police could have at least taken fingerprints, said they would look into it or maybe patrol the area once a night.

Because of the police’s lack of involvement our residents end up staying up late or waking up during the night to check their cars. All we want is to catch them as this is theft.

We hope something can be done about this very soon as it cannot go on.
