BUG­GY­WALK, Sport Welling­ton’s Au­gust walk is in the beau­ti­ful Otai­hanga Do­main, next to the Waikanae River on the Kapiti Coast. Meet on the main field at 10am for 10.30am start. Du­ra­tion is about an hour. The track is com­pletely flat and is on dirt, grass and gravel paths. Satur­day, Au­gust 4 KAPA HAKA, Welling­ton re­gional com­pe­ti­tion, Welling­ton Town Hall, 8.30am till 6pm. Nine teams, up to 350 per­form­ers, will be com­pet­ing to rep­re­sent the re­gion at the na­tional com­pe­ti­tion. Tick­ets through Tick­etek, $5/$10/$15.
