PLIM­MER­TON - A COLOURFUL HIS­TORY, From Taupo Pa, ar­rival of the rail­way, week­end re­sort and beach baches to the birth of a vil­lage, war years, fires ga­lore, skele­tons and rusty pis­tols, Plim­mer­ton has had a fas­ci­nat­ing past. At Pataka till Novem­ber 11.

Julie Burgess from the Whitby Flo­ral Art Club will give a Flo­ral Art demon­stra­tion at 2pm on Satur­day and there will be a dis­play of spin­ning and knit­ting by the Tawa Spin­ners and Weavers on Sun­day.
