Holistic time-out

-

I was very lucky recently to be treated to one of Holistic Health’s Yummy Mummy treatments.

The treatment for mums with littlies is new and they are offering it at the very affordable price of $ 30. It includes a 20-minute upper back, neck, shoulders and scalp massage and best of all: childcare!

I felt very comfortable handing the boys over to their lovely nanny, who very quickly had Bailey, 4, involved in a game with the toys in an adjacent room to where I had the treatment.

Ollie, 1, is unfortunately going through that delightful clingy, ‘‘ you’re not my mummy so I will scream at you’’ stage and ended up playing with some toys in the room with me.

I still thoroughly enjoyed my massage, which Lynda was able to do with me sitting in the chair with Ollie at my feet.

The Indian head massage was incredible and I am very keen to book my husband in to one of the classes they hold to learn how to do it! I also highly recommend the hot stone massage they offer. It is amazing and leaves you feeling so relaxed.

I found Lynda and her team to be very warm and friendly. They are incredibly passionate about health and offer a range of services, classes and events to benefit the health and wellbeing of the whole family.

They offer great pregnancy treatments, including massage and acupuncture, and regular ladies’ nights which include canapes, wine, guest speakers and massages.

Holistic Health is located next to the Playcentre Shop at 73 Kenepuru Drive.
