New booze policy

Porirua will have a Local Alcohol Policy by next year. When the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Bill passes into law, each community will have the opportunity to develop an LAP, which will provide a framework to decide on issues such as location and operating hours of licensed premises. Each ‘village’ within Porirua could likely have its own tailored LAP.
