Check out a proposed section of Transmission Gully and learn the history of Battle Hill and how it got its name. Bring a picnic and togs to enjoy after the walk at the camp ground and swimming hole. No dogs please. 9.30am-11.30am. Sunday, March 3 CHILDREN’S DAY, family picnic, kids’ attractions at Aotea Lagoon. 10am till 3pm. Saturday, March 16 CRAFT MARKET, Tawa Community Centre, Cambridge St. Jewellery, cards, dolls, baby clothing, NZthemed goods, wooden items and a fundraising barbecue with paua fritters. 9.30am till 1.30pm.
