If you own or rent a house built be­fore 2000 and have a Com­mu­nity Ser­vices Card you could have your home in­su­lated for free. Warm Up New Zealand Healthy Homes is a Gov­ern­ment pro­gramme of­fer­ing un­der oor and ceil­ing in­su­la­tion and will be de­liv­ered through the En­ergy Ef ciency and Con­ser­va­tion Au­thor­ity (EECA). The pro­gramme is tar­get­ing low­in­come house­holds, par­tic­u­larly those fam­i­lies with chil­dren and high health needs. It will be free Con­tact the Wellington Re­gional Healthy Hous­ing Coali­tion for a re­fer­ral or one of the in­sul­ta­tion providers be­low to see if you can get your house in­su­lated be­fore next win­ter.
