The theme for this year’s Parks Week is to connect with nature. Porirua Parks Week offers a range of walks and activities, many with Mayor Nick Leggett, which will take you into some of Porirua’s lovely parks and reserves. Parks Week, running from 3–9 March, highlights events that show how important our parks are to healthy, happy, strong communities. Porirua Mayor Nick Leggett encourages people to make the most of Porirua’s parks. “We have 176 parks and reserves in Porirua including our playgrounds. They are easy to get
