en sports issues that have occupied my mind this year:

It would seat 12,000 and be the Phoenix’s home ground.

Small crowds there would not look as bad as they do in the 35,000-seater at Westpac Stadium.

The answer isn’t to build a smaller stadium.

It’s to build a bigger following, which the Phoenix have begun to do with their fine recent form.
