Pick it up

Just wanted to say ‘‘good on you’’ to the Tararua Tramping Club for their rubbish clean-up between Pukerua Bay and Hongoeka the other week ( Kapi-Mana News, August 26). It’s a shame it’s a job that needs doing but it’s great they have done it.

Please everyone reading – take note and ‘‘be a tidy Kiwi’’. It’s not that hard. last election.

I am an immigrant, and cut my political teeth in another jurisdiction entirely, but I can’t believe the New Zealand voter has no shame that their elected representatives should practise such cynical manipulation of public opinion and the political scene, and believe they can get reelected without even so much as an apology, resignation or dismissal.
