Arrogant disrespect

Is anybody else astounded and shocked over Chris Ellis’ antics? ( Kapi-Mana News, August 26).

How can it be that a serial speedster (as he obviously is) can get off paying a speeding fine because of a technicality?

No matter how he tries to dress it up as a genuine complaint and play the ‘‘Big Brother’’ card, the obvious fact remains – he was speeding.

I find it saddening that someone who is in the legal profession seems to glory in the fact he got away with it and displays such arrogance and disrespect for the rule of law.

Shame on him.
