Support the supporters at CanTeen appeal

CanTeen needs help for their annual fundraising drive.

The CanTeen Street Appeal on September 19 and 20 forms an integral part of the charity’s income each year and requires significant manpower, said CanTeen chief executive David Pearce. The charity gets no government funding. It is the only New Zealand organisation dedicated to supporting the 1600 people aged 13-24 living with cancer.

‘‘With 14 branches across the country, we make sure support is within reach of every young New Zealander during an incredibly trying time in their lives,’’ Pearce said.

CanTeen’ annual appeal runs from September 8 to 21.
