Nominations needed now

The nominations for this year’s Porirua Sports Awards are trickling in and you have until September 19 to get those choices in.

The qualifying period is between September 1, 2013, and August 31, 2014.

You can put forward nominations for coach, team, young sportswoman, young sportsman, individual sport- sperson and service to sport ( which is not bound by the qualifying period).

The big night will be at Te Rauparaha Arena on November 13.

Guest speaker will be Silver Ferns coach Waimarama Taumaunu and there will be new trophies up for grabs.
