WE SAY

Kapi-Mana News - - FRONT PAGE -

I used to travel a lot overseas. Even with kids we would save all year to head off to an exotic island or across the ditch to Australia.

The most adventurous trip we undertook was a road trip up the Pacific Highway on the west coast of the United States and then into Canada and across to Calgary. It was an exciting time, especially with two young teenagers in the back seat. I had a fabulous junket to Beijing just before the Olympic Games but since then it has been very quiet on the travel front.

The world has always had volatile hot spots, but at the moment I’m happy that they are content to stay down under - at least for a while anyway. - Sharron Pardoe, News Director Communities
