Irreplacable loss

-

On Thursday September 13 I left my house in Paraparaumu at 6am to babysit my grandchildren in Wellington. I am 63 years old and an invalid. On my return home at 6pm I drove into my garage and sensed something was wrong. I had been burgled. They had smashed my toilet window and entered and rummaged through all my belongings and obviously pinched small stuff (jewellery mainly). I don’t suppose the person/persons who did this had any trouble sleeping that night, but I did.

I want to ask anyone who knows who has done this, no questions asked to return my grandmother’s 21st watch (an heirloom). It will be 100 years old next year, as would the pearls you took. The garnet ring you took was my mothers. All irreplaceable.

I am so grateful to friends and family who came immediately to help patch up the window and keep me company for a couple of days. Thank you also to Smith and Smith who came and fixed my window so quickly.
