Holiday classes on
The Kapiti Arts & Crafts Society is holding children’s holiday classes during the October school holidays with the help of Paraparaumu Rotary Arts Trust following the successful programme they ran in 2016.
Held from October 3-5, on the Wednesday participants will make a hanging Christmas tree decoration and a greeting card using small shells.
On the Thursday participants will make a wall hanging using materials from the beach and on Friday a sea creature from recycled ‘stuff’.
All materials for the workshop will be supplied.
The cost is $15 per child per workshop. Workshop times are 1pm-2.30pm for children 6 to 8 years old and 3pm-4.30pm for children 9 and over.
Workshops are limited to 12 children and will take place at the Kapiti Arts & Crafts Workrooms, 192 Matai Rd, Raumati Beach.
