Free trains for a day

Trips on all Metlink train lines across the Wellington region will be free all day from 5am on Sunday, October 30.

The Ride for Free Sunday also marks the end of the Greater Wellington Regional Council project to modernise the train fleet, which finished this month with the last of the 83 Matangi two-car units entering service.
