Katikati Volunteer Fire Brigade has had a busy start to September.

On Friday one truck responded to a Park Rd address to an alarm activation, no action was required.

On Monday, September 10, one truck and the brigade’s tanker responded to a truck v car accident at Apata. The same evening while traffic was diverted up Wainui South Rd, one appliance attended to a fuel leak as a result of a collision. That same day the brigade was called to an unattended rubbish fire near Phillip Walter Drive.

Earlier on in the day of September 10 both appliances attended an alarm activation at Eastpack on Marshall Rd.

On Tuesday, September 4 two trucks attended a scrub fire near Phillip Walter drive. The day before (September 3) one truck backed up St John to a cardiac arrest at Busby Rd.
