Ul­ti­mate Fun Fest marks 10th

This Satur­day it's cel­e­bra­tion time all day and night atTECTPark.

Western Bay of Plenty District and Tau­ranga City coun­cils in­vite youto theTECTPar­k Ul­ti­mateFunFes­t fea­tur­ing an ex­trav­a­ganza of free en­ter­tain­ment tomark the park's 10th birth­day.

Pack a pic­nic, grab a chair, torch and­some cash— and­comeup to play for the day and the night. From10am un­til3pmther­e's the an­nu­alMudDog Run, bouncy cas­tle, pony rides, face paint­ing and­more— Santa Claus will be com­ing in by chop­per to sur­prise the kids.

Sports clubs that call the park home­will also be open­ing their doors to the pub­lic for have-a-go ac­tiv­i­ties and demon­stra­tions, in­clud­ing Bay of Plenty Four­Wheel Drive Club, Tau­ranga Model Air­craft Club and paint­ball

Andthen you're wel­come to kick back at night, from7pmto 10pm, to en­joy food trucks, a laser light­show and a big screen show­ing of Kiwi le­gends Six60's sell-out Western Springs show.

TheUl­ti­mate FunFest is one of the largest pub­lic events hosted atTECT Park. Free buses will be avail­able for both the day and night ses­sions leav­ing Katikati, Te Puke andAquinas Col­lege while shut­tles will ferry peo­ple to var­i­ous ac­tiv­i­ties within the park from the­main event space.
