Ultimate Fun Fest marks 10th

Western Bay of Plenty District and Tauranga City councils invite youto theTECTPar­k UltimateFu­nFest featuring an extravagan­za of free entertainm­ent tomark the park's 10th birthday.

Pack a picnic, grab a chair, torch andsome cash— andcomeup to play for the day and the night. From10am until3pmth­ere's the annualMudD­og Run, bouncy castle, pony rides, face painting andmore— Santa Claus will be coming in by chopper to surprise the kids.

Sports clubs that call the park homewill also be opening their doors to the public for have-a-go activities and demonstrat­ions, including Bay of Plenty FourWheel Drive Club, Tauranga Model Aircraft Club and paintball

Andthen you're welcome to kick back at night, from7pmto 10pm, to enjoy food trucks, a laser lightshow and a big screen showing of Kiwi legends Six60's sell-out Western Springs show.

TheUltimat­e FunFest is one of the largest public events hosted atTECT Park. Free buses will be available for both the day and night sessions leaving Katikati, Te Puke andAquinas College while shuttles will ferry people to various activities within the park from themain event space.
