Three resign

Three members of the Katikati College Board of Trustees resigned last week including chairperson Bobbette Tanner. In a letter to parents on Monday from limited statutory manager Shawn Gielen and interim board chairperson Chris Jacobs it stated that the remaining board and LSM have met with theMinistry of Education to consider its governance position moving forward and look at a range of options with them. It also stated principal Carolyn Pentecost is on sick leave until the end of the year, and Louise Buckley will be acting principal in the interim.
