These private, spacious, unique Fales provide the only Over-the-Water experience in Samoa, and they do so with the famous charm and unique Samoan architecture and handiwork that has long made Coconuts the standard-bearer in Samoa.
The six Over-the-Water Fales were designed and built with privacy in mind. The entry into the Fale opens into a soaring main room, where the bedroom and large sitting area are located. The handiwork of the cathedral ceilings lets you know that you are truly in Samoa. The large and bright bathroom features stone sinks, and even a bathtub with an amazing view. The sitting area opens onto spacious decks with comfy furniture, providing a true indoor/outdoor experience, where guests can take in the majesty of the surroundings in the privacy of their own open-air refuge. These Over-the-Water Fales have modern facilities and conveniences, while harkening back to a traditional Samoan time.
Coconuts has undergone a dramatic and incredible transformation over the past several years, with a brand new Dining and Bar Fale, a new Reception and Office, and an incredible new Boutique Shop that is the talk of Samoa (guests and locals are travelling from all over to shop at Coconuts!). Dining at Coconuts has never been better, with some new and innovative island-inspired dishes featured at Mika’s Restaurant.
The new Dining & Bar Fale is the centrepiece of the resort, with a soaring, thatched roof, artistic handiwork, and simply breathtaking views of the beaches and the sea. Many guests prefer to enjoy their meals on the expansive open-air Palm Terrace. The other central meeting point for guests is the gecko-shaped swimming pool, with a thatched roof, swim-up pool bar. New decking, thatched umbrellas, and a waterfall feature make the pool a popular spot for guests to relax in the tropical sun.
