Having landed in Johannesburg off a flight from Cape Town, I headed for the Baobab Business Class Lounge, which is separated from the Cycad First Class Lounge by the airlines large check-in desk. The lounge in Johannesburg is an ideal hub for business and long-haul travellers like myself as it gave me the opportunity to relax for three hours during my layover before my 10 hour flight to Perth departed, totally free from the hustle and bustle of the main departures terminal.

The lounge offers both business as well as good leisure traveller facilities with ample room to find a quiet place to work or unwind. There is streamlined efficiency to the lounge, which starts with

the check in staff who are very proficient and helpful, and the lounge boasts among other facilities, numerous computer workstations offering ergonomic business modules.

In addition to the outstanding travelling experience, customers can also access South African Airways Business Class lounges elsewhere across the globe. South African Airways welcomes all qualifying customers to visit one of these lounges, to relax and refresh before embarking on your flight.
