Crowdfunding for rail

Some time ago I sent in a letter to Lizard News, in reply to an earlier letter by a rail enthusiast, who would like to see a start on reopening the Ōmokoroa to Apata line.

Perhaps I could suggest crowdfunding to finance the scheme?

My further interest is a step towards reopening the Ōmokoroa to Katikati line. It would be a great boost to a tourist scenic attraction.
