Blanchetts Fine Furniture has been part of the local community for many years now. Our factory is hidden from view at 58 Napier Road as we were originally manufacturing wholesalers of fine New Zealand upholstered furniture and we have often been asked, “how long have you been here?”

The economy, market trends and the flood of imported furniture has seen Blanchetts expand their horizons to offer our fine furniture — handcrafted, sustainably NZ made. We have a product that is enduring functional and beautiful.

We encourage you to visit our factory/showroom to see our impressive furniture range, as well as restoration and re upholstery services. We also create stunning curtains as part of our interior design service. Customers who visit are amazed at the solid timber we use in our frames and see the value of using the traditional methods of upholstery. We don’t take shortcuts!

Please feel free to visit Monday to Friday between 8am and 4.30pm — weekends by appointment. You will be able to see the manufacturing process, and maybe as others have done, follow the progress of your furniture from bare frame to finished piece.
