Waverly club Border beat Taipahe 17-16 in the Wanganui club rugby final at Cooks Gardens on Saturday. Border scored two tries in the first half to be up 17-10 at halftime. Taihape kicked two penalties in the second spell, but couldn’t overhaul Border.
