Euro link to kidnap

Police investigating the abduction of Formula One billionaire Bernie Ecclestone’s mother-in-law in Brazil believe they know the identity of the kidnappers, according to a report in UK newspaper The Daily Mirror. Aparecida Schunck, the mother of Ecclestone’s wife, Fabiana Flosi, was seized in the Brazilian city on Friday night. According to the report, Brazilian police are investigating the possibility the act was the work of a European mastermind. The criminals have demanded 20 million reais (NZ$8.56 million), and allegedly want the ransom cash separated into four different bags.
