It’s Not Like This At Home! ran the heading on this Manawatu Standard photo from Tuesday, March 14, 1961, page 7. The caption read: Palmerston North residents awoke yesterday morning to rain and a sharp nip in the air. However, the lower temperature and the rain were more keenly felt by two visitors from the warmer Hawke’s Bay region.
