It’s been a long time between drinks and cries of ‘‘Go Warriors!’’ - for Manawatu rugby league fans to see the NRL team play on local turf. Sunday’s venture proved successful, both in terms of a great crowd and the Warriors putting on some quality footy. Hopefully we don’t have to wait another 17 years for the next visit. editor@msl.co.nz
