The field days are part of Agrifood Investment Week 2017, which has also featured seminars, meetings and conferences.
New Zealand Agrifood Investment chairman Malcolm Bailey said the agrifood sector continued to grow and diversify.
‘‘We need to make sure farmers and everyone along the value chain can deliver what the consumer wants. Science, innovation and research have an important part to play.’’
The field days run from Thursday to Saturday.
