Mixed debut

Champion Adelaide apprentice Matthew Poon has had a mixed introduction to racing in Hong Kong with a winner at Sha Tin and a visit to hospital. His fourth ride on Sunday brought victory on the John Moore-trained Happy Meteor but he was tossed off his mount on the way on to the track two races later. He was not seriously hurt but was taken to hospital for observation.
