Te Kawau Bs out

For the second consecutive season, Te Kawau have withdrawn from the senior B competition in Manawatu club rugby. They defaulted their first round match against Feilding and then again in round two against Freyberg and have subsequently withdrawn from the competition. Linton Army defaulted in round one, but managed to field a team last weekend. Te Kawau pulled out of the senior B competition due to lack of numbers midway through the season last year. With Te Kawau pulling out and Pirates folding before the season started, the senior B competition now features 11 teams, with games scheduled against Te Kawau turning into a bye.
