Top residentia­l consultant for thirteen years

An interest in property and the opportunit­y to build close relationsh­ips with clients is what attracted Raewyn Easton into the real estate industry.

“Real estate offers the opportunit­y to work closely with people and to be in a position where you can make a positive difference to their lives, which is rewarding,” says Raewyn. Raewyn has a successful career in sales spanning more than 30 years. She has 16 years’ experience selling real estate with Property Brokers, and has been their top residentia­l sales consultant in Palmerston North for 13 years. When marketing any property, Raewyn says her goal is to create the maximum amount of interest and to ultimately generate multiple offers as these help to ensure the vendor achieves the best possible result. “As a sales consultant you have a genuine responsibi­lity and a profession­al obligation to look after, treasure and protect what is a person’s most valuable asset. You need to always put the vendors’ interest above everyone else and to obtain the absolute best result. Commitment is an essential trait in a sales consultant,” says Raewyn. “You need to be totally committed, prepared to do the hard graft and be honest and upfront with your clients at all times,” she says. Raewyn enjoys the entire spectrum of real estate however, she says her expertise and passion is in listing and marketing properties. “I love working with my clients and planning a strategy and seeing that come to fruition.” Property Brokers is Raewyn’s preferred choice of agency because it is well-known, highly-respected and has a prominent profile in the market place. When it comes to pastimes and interests, Raewyn says real estate is pretty full on which doesn’t leave a great deal of time for hobbies. “However, when I’m not working, I enjoy time out with family and friends and I try to make the most of those special moments,” she says.
