Manawatu¯ Strength Challenge open men’s champion Eruera Wirihana carries a 130-kilogram anvil in what competitor­s agreed was the most taxing event in the competitio­n at Manfeild.

Manawatu¯’s most muscled put their strength on the line at Manfeild on Saturday. Warwick Smith caught their bulging biceps, puffed-out pecks and action-man abs.
