Your snapshots of summer

Stuff’s Summer Photo Competition winners have perfectly captured what the sunny months in New Zealand are all about.

The competition attracted more than 9500 entries across the six categories, each with a $2000 Canon voucher prize.

A panel of judges picked the winners based on technical composition and the ability of the subjects and scenes to sum up summer in New Zealand.

The winning photos encapsulated the Kiwi summer experience – taken in urban and rural settings, on beaches and in the back country the photos showcased the country’s natural beauty.
