Seven new Covid-19 cases have been found at the border. The Ministry of Health said six cases were in MIQ in Christchurch. It said the number of cases in the international mariner group had grown to 17, with three additional cases announced yesterday. The three mariners had arrived on January 6 via Russia and had tested positive for the virus around day three testing. Yesterday’s four other cases arrived on January 7 from India, the United States and Puerto Rico. The ministry said one previously reported case was now regarded as under investigation as a possible historical case.
