Manurewa MP Louisa Wall noted importance of children being able to prepare their own food and drinks. Manurewa sKids centre owner Rose King says: ‘‘We are dedicated to growing core capabiliti­es in our kids so that they flourish in life. Celebratin­g in a way where the kids can participat­e by making a nutritious drink themselves is not only great for their tastebuds, but also builds their confidence too’’.
