Seniors: Senior citizens gain a range of services from Bhartiya Samaj which meets every second Monday 10.30 am-l 2.30 pm at Flat Bush Old School Hall corner of Murphy’s Rd sKids celebrated its 20th anniversary at Manurewa South Primary with 300 students, teachers and the principal, Tone Kolose blending their own smoothies on a bike. Manurewa MP Louisa Wall noted importance of children being able to prepare their own food and drinks. Manurewa sKids centre owner Rose King says: ‘‘We are dedicated to growing core capabilities in our kids so that they flourish in life. Celebrating in a way where the kids can participate by making a nutritious drink themselves is not only great for their tastebuds, but also builds their confidence too’’.
