ZONTA AWARDS

A helping hand is offered to South Auckland women keen to further their education or who show leadership. The South Auckland Zonta Club is offering a $5000 study award to women aged 25-45 to help fund tertiary education. The $1500 Young Women in Public Affairs Award is open to young secondary students who have shown leadership skills and a commitment to helping others. The scholarships recognise the importance of education and leadership for women and are offered in partnership with the Chenery Trust. Applications close on August 5.
