CM junior athletes give province cause for pride

Counties Manukau Athletics is over the moon with how its juniors performed at the Interprovi­ncial athletics championsh­ips.

‘‘Bloody awesome,’’ team manager Terry Jensen says.

‘‘Being able to mix it with the bigger provinces like Auckland, Wellington, Canterbury and Waikato is terrific and to have five of our athletes among the 12 best athletes at the championsh­ips is outstandin­g.’’

The Counties Manukau Interprovi­ncial team included:
