CAR CRASH

Three people have been injured, one receiving life-threatening injuries, after a car crash in Papatoetoe. Emergency services were called to Bridge St at 6.40pm on Sunday, after reports that a car had hit a pedestrian. A St John spokewoman said three patients were rushed to Middlemore Hospital, one in a critical condition and the others with minor injuries. Police and two fire trucks were also in attendance at the scene.
