The sight of NSWhopeful James Roberts being carried off the field has soured Brisbane’s 32-18 NRL win over Penrith at Suncorp Stadium. Roberts staked another claim for a Blues jersey with an 85m wonder try but his Origin dream may be shattered after damaging his right ankle with seven minutes left on the clock. A shattered Roberts had to be escorted from the field after his leg collided with teammate Matt Gillett in a tackle.
