Tournament enjoys great weather

-

Perfect weather and a beautifully prepared venue greeted a good field of players at the annual Lions Club Charity Golf Tournament in support of Matamata IHC.

The players were provided with a scrumptious morning tea prepared by a dedicated team of tournament supporters.

Scoring on the day was again of a high standard with winning combinations coming from visiting golfers.

The tournament field included 25 players from the Ports of Auckland fraternity.

The Ports of Auckland group have been regular and much appreciated supporters of the event.

The level of excitement increased when the Antlea team arrived at the event in their shiny black R22 helicopter.

Organisers would like to thank the Matamata business community for their wonderful support.
