School hol­i­days are ap­proach­ing fast and if the weather is poor it can be hard for chil­dren to use up all their en­ergy so per­haps the op­tions be­low will give you some ideas.

Visit the Avan­tidrome Skills Park – this great free ac­tiv­ity has a moun­tain­bike skills sec­tion, a long pump-BMX track and a road skills area. There is some­thing to do from lit­tlies on trikes to adults on a moun­tain­bike. If you do go, take some time have a look in­side the velo­drome – any­body is wel­come to walk around the top bal­cony and view the track. Book into a hol­i­day pro­gramme.
