School Sport

There is lots of sport on for Matamata primary schools this term with Kiwisport bowls, golf and badminton in town. There is also a miniball and basketball tournament and a rural primary schools hockey tournament.

With so many talented sports children in the town, Sport Waikato is looking into developing a pathway for inter-district competitions – we hope to have something in place for term two, 2015. Meanwhile keep an eye out for the 2014 Home Play Challenge based on the Commonwealth Games.
