Day promotes youth football

-

A Waikato-Bay of Plenty football talent centre game day was held at the Matamata Domain on Saturday.

Eleven teams from Waikato and Bay of Plenty descended on the domain, with eight Under-12 teams (four boys and four girls) and three U13- 14 boys teams.

About 150 players travelled to Matamata for the tournament.

Matamata Swifts AFC was again commended for the work of their volunteers during what is an important regional youth football tournament.
